Pelion
In the centre of Greece, 320 km from Athens and 230 km from Thessaloniki, sits MountPelion, the mythical mountain of the Centaurs and the place which poet George Drosinis described as «the pride of the mountains».
Mount Pelion is situated between the Pagasitikos Gulf on one side and the AegeanSea on the other, with easy access to either coastline. It has been always a very popular destination for both domestic and foreign visitors
The combination of sea and mountain, the surrounding habitat, the trees, the flowers, the traditional villages with their cobbled paths, the 19th century Pelion train, the ski centre at the top of the mountain and the beautiful beaches, all combine to guarantee visitors an enjoyable stay at any time of the year. |
